Moody’s Investors Service has downgraded the rating outlook for ICICI Bank and Axis Bank to negative from stable, and revised IDBI Banks outlook to stable from positive. The move was driven by a potential deterioration in asset quality resulting from coronavirus related disruptions. Moodys has also placed IndusInd Banks rating under review for a downgrade.

Probationary Officer

Post Graduate Diploma in Banking (PGDB) Programme is an initiative of ICICI Bank in partnership with Manipal University. The Probationary Officers training programme aims to attract young talent who wish to pursue a career in banking. It is a vocational training programme designed to develop a pool of first level managers with banking knowledge and required skill-sets to perform efficiently in their day-to-day activities.

Programme Structure

The programme structure is as follows:

  • Term 1 (4 months) – Classroom training at IMA, Bengaluru
  • Term 2 (2 months) – Internship at ICICI Bank
  • Term 3 (2 months) – Classroom training at IMA, Bengaluru
  • Term 4 (4 months) – On-the-job training at ICICI Bank  

Eligibility Criteria

Graduates with 55% (Aggregate) marks in any discipline

Up to 27 years of age as on 1st March 2020 (Should have been born on or after 1st March 1993).

Job Title: e-Relationship Manager

Job Description:

  • Build and deepen relationships with customers to achieve increase in share of wallet and revenues through the phone banking channel
  • Provide professional customer service to achieve high customer satisfaction and retention
  • Have complete knowledge of customer base in terms of the profile, demographics and assets in the bank
  • Serve as one-point contact to the mapped customers of the bank
  • Cross selling of new products and services for both new and existing customers
  • Providing advisory for various products offered by Banks to enhance relationship value
  • Develop and maintain banking relationships with select group of customers through individualized customer service
  • Generate new business to achieve defined targets in terms of no of customers, volumes and revenue for the segment
  • Achieve the budgeted cross sell targets
  • Ensure coverage of customer base in accordance with business plans
